Cait Callahan
Cait Callahan studied journalism at Rutgers University and worked as a newspaper copy editor and reporter in New Jersey before moving to New York to work in publishing at W.W. Norton & Company. It wasn't long before the buzzing food scene in the city captivated her interest, and she left her editorial career to work in the restaurant industry. With no experience to speak of, she worked her way up from barista to host, server to bartender, events coordinator, and eventually, manager. She now bartends full-time, studies wine and craft cocktails, writes, and hangs out in her home neighborhood of Red Hook, Brooklyn — her favorite place in the world.
